“Sphinx Rehabilitation Project”
This is a mixed media oil painting on vintage book paper in which the texture of the underlying photo sneaks through at the edges, and gives the antique style image a contemporary twist. This ORIGINAL mixed media oil painting is the only one of its kind. It depicts a gorgeous sphinx getting a foot massage from nurses in vintage uniforms in front of the pyramids in Egypt. She’s been diligently asking riddles to humankind for centuries and just slipped away from her post for a bit of self-care. This image is an excellent reminder to givers and caretakers to also make time to care for themselves, amidst all the very important work they do for others. This painting was created using high-quality oil pigments.
