This is a mixed media oil painting on magazine paper in which the texture of the underlying photo sneaks through at the edges, and gives the antique style image a contemporary twist. It is mounted on board, and the reclaimed wood frame is an inseparable part of this piece. This ORIGINAL mixed media oil painting is the only one of its kind. It depicts a large ship leaving port and going out to sea. It was created using high-quality oil pigments and is signed by the artist.
