Reading a book is its own kind of magic.  Sometimes we’re transported elsewhere, and other times, our imagination brings the story into our own world.  In this painting, a girl reads a bedtime story to her sisters, and they can feel the presence of the author’s world. This was originally painted on an old book page, paint combining with the texture of ink.
